GREAT HALE RELIEF IN NEED CHARITY AND GREAT HALE EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The Charity and Foundation date back to 1700. They were established to help the poor of the Great Hale Parish in such ways as providing fuel for heating, food, or clothing, and for the education of their children. The funds are administered by a board of local Trustees.

Today the Charity offers financial assistance to those residents in Great Hale Parish requiring help:

  • If you need financial assistance with bills or unexpected expenses.
  • If you are in receipt of benefits or have had a change in your income due to Coronavirus.
  • “Great Hale Relief in Need” has funds available. If you need help, then please apply.

The Charity also offers an annual Christmas Grant to any resident of the Great Hale Parish who is in receipt of an Income Related Government Benefit.

Nowadays the Education Foundation offers book tokens to any Great Hale school pupil moving from primary to secondary education.

It also offers grants to young people up to the age of 25 moving on from school to University, Employment or Apprenticeship perhaps to buy books or tools.

If you are interested, please email greathalecharity2020@gmail.com for a Charity Relief in Need application form or to enquiry about the Education funds available.

All applications are treated in the strictest confidence.
